[Antennas] NO OX?

You are probably thinking of Noalox. It is quite good for that
application. I couldn't find it locally, but have used Ox-Gard,
which is quite similar. I have seen Ox-Gard at both Home Depot and
Ace Hardware stores. I haven't tried to disassemble my vertical, but
it has been holding up well for 8 years. Silicone grease might be a
better choice for coax (Cushcraft supplies a small amount with their
antennas which use aluminum UHF connectors). If you use a conductive
compound on connectors, be careful to only apply a very small amount
on the threaded portion.
