[Antennas] Older hybrid quad question

I take it that you are describing four sided elements, on wood or
fiberglass supports, with wire wrapped around this foundation. And that
there are multiple elements, one driven, the other either a reflector or
director.
The supports are angled outward from the center to get the desired
spacing for each band?
This would sound like an ARRL or West Coast Handbook, or even an ARRL
Antenna book published in the late seventies.
