[Antennas] Building Full-Size 80m Vertical Query-Help. . . . .

I am in the process of erecting three 80m verticals, all of which with
60' of Universal aluminum towering and a small 2" aluminum tubing out
of the top.
The base sections are standard Universal items, in about 2.5 cubic
yards of concrete, which I connect to the bottom section of each tower
with very short [about 7"] pieces of solid fiberglas ROD as insulators.
The insulators I am using are of 1" rod, though your local farm/home
dealer may have the proper size fiberglas rod ... they sell it as
pre-drilled fiberglas fence posts. About 1.25" in diameter. I
already have the 1" rod, but that stuff requires some 'fitting' at the
base. No problem for me as I have done it before with my 80m vertical
which I used in Indiana from 1989-2004.
