I stand corrected (meant voltage..but lysdexia made me type current...and I
worship a DoG!)....not enough coffee this morning (yet! DAMN I am up before
7am on a Saturday morning?? What is wrong with me??)

That's at a 'high voltage' point where you can catch wood or other materials
on fire... unless the conductor itself is undersized and overheats.  But
doing a 1/4 wave vertical the high voltage point is at the top, the most
current is at the bottom where its nice and fat.  And there shouldn't be any
matching network needed, so nothing to get hot.
