Try some heavy lexan.  It should be fairly easy to find 1/4" thick or so
locally at a place that does commercial windows and doors.  Maybe you can
get some scraps or cutoff pieces from them cheap.  I would double it up at
least, maybe 3 pieces thick, bolt it to the legs and to a ground support of
some kind.  For that size vertical you could probably get away with burying
some 4x4 posts 3-4' down with concrete around them, it probably depends on
your soil, but that's what I would start looking at.
