Comet actually sells just such an antenna as Dick suggests, in which the
angle between two whips is about 120 deg. and feedpoint impedance is
50ohms. The antenna can
also be used in a 'flat" dipole configuration. Covers 40/20/15/10m,
sells for $350. See current AES catalog p. 93.
