Hi,
Figured I should subscribe to antennae group seeing I
hope to be putting up a bunch this spring, and this should
be the place to get the right answers. Anyway, I bought
a A3S w/40M kit from SK estate several years ago after
coming up here to WPA to retire {?}, and it has been up
in my loft in the ham shack building. When I bought the
antenna, I also got the Tri-ex Tower and rotor, controller,
etc. Well, now I am trying to get the A3S up in a temp
configuration, until I can get the tower planted. What I
need to know is - I think the rotor is a CDE - no markings
on it. It has provisions for 8-wire control cable. The
controller I got with it is an Alliance/Dual Speed Control
with a 6 connector strip. I have absolutely no paper
work for this, and I would like any assistance in getting
a manual, or whatever to get me on the right track. I
will of course pay for any copying/etc that would be
required. I decided that I have to replace my TH3JR
that the loggers hit while taking tree down this fall -
so it needs reworked. And I am regulated to just a
old G5RV and a 4BTV now - but with the weather
starting to break, I will get the antennas up.
Appreciate any assistance, and if anyone is near me
[in WPA north of Ligonier, PA @ 1450'], I would
even give them a AEA Isopole that is also living in
my loft!!
TIA.
