I was wondering what techniques you would employ to make these
measurements.... I know a couple, but perhaps there's some new way that
would be superior to what I was thinking of. Once I have the "real world"
range of impedances I need to deal with - then I have a point of departure
for the tuner/matching network.

Hmmm.... that might be an interesting addition to the Feedpoint Tuner.
