ok, well I'm thinking more along the lines of DX

24/7  as I do want to get involved with the emergency group around

Well the radio I have now is a Kenwood TS-430S  and it has 100 watts out

well, like i said I dont want to spend a whole lot, my budget is 
rather tight right now. We are looking at moving to this acre  I was 
telling you about...and it's in another state....

Who knows , if Santa can find me out in the hills of Tennessee,,,, 
ill have some good stuff coming I hope
I'll be setting up a SHACK, and this will be my full time hobby, I 
have about 12 years till i retire so....figure I am not rich...lol
