I have a similar Hy-Gain AV-640 and used a piece of galvanized pipe  
from the local hardware store (1-1/2 in, I recall).  I had them cut  
it down to 15 ft.  The bottom 2 ft are in the ground and it is  
clamped to two perpendicular fascia boards at roof level.
