I don't rely on the mag mount for the antenna ground. 

Do you know of a screwdriver antenna with a 3/8"-24 threaded mount?

If you use the magmount system, what do you do for an antenna ground? 
I cannot believe that at HF, the mag to car body capacitance is enuff 
that it's low in comparison to antenna impedance. Tnx, -Hue
