[Antennas] do you know what antenna this is??

My friend was given a antenna with no marking on it , and we cant 
figure out what it is...it looks like a 4BTV vertical, however the 
assembly has a coax connector mounted to the side of a radial, that 
you can just screw in  a pl259 to.
Any ideas? I can insert a pic if that is allowed in here
