Wrong!  802.11 WLAN's are spread spectrum and amateur SS power is limited to
100W with automatic power control.  The amplifiers need to be
"bi-directional".

Which means that if you have a Technician or higher amateur radio license
you could use 1.5 kW output with a WLAN unit if you could :-)

--I'm and extra so I could probably do 5KW  (-:   lol

These things don't have an easy way to separate the tx & rx so amping them
is a problem then, isn't it?
