I also have a 102' G5RV about 35 feet high in the middle.  It runs over the house between 2 trees, and the last 10 feet of the 30' twinlead lays horizontally on a lower roof, then connects to RG-8X coax.  It performs better than any other wire antenna I ever had (except for a cubical quad), especially on 80 and 20 meters.

I have used a 102' G5RV for two years now, and the middle is only about 35 feet off the ground, so the feedline bends a bit in the last few feet. It has served me very well, hitting my DXCC in 13 months from getting back on the air. I think it's a good low angle antenna and useful from 80m to 10m with a tuner.
