PS  Look into the Burce Array, yes, it is twice the length of the G5RV,which
can be used all band with a tuner, just like your G5RV. Ohh, it has 10db
gain on 40m, unlike the G5RV. The models of the G5RV I have seen, show the
G5RV to have the same gain as a dipole. Possibly a 1/2 wave vertical dipole
could give you some DX you haven't heard in a while, and it requires no
radials and no ground system. If length is an issue, I can recommend a
hamstick, which I have been using on my ve jetta for over a year,
successfully, yes you need a ground or radial; system. Some of my friends
have cut up their G5RV and use it as a radial system.
