Hey gang I was going through my hurricane evac. box and ran across my old
AEA (think that was the name of the company) telescoping antenna that I
bought years a go in Seattle. It has a red heat shrink wrapped around a
what looks like coil at the base and the letters AEA in white on Red Heat
Shrink. It is about 9" long and telescopes to about 40" and has a bnc
connector on the end and I have a SMA adapter on it. What I'm wondering
is if any one has one or ever used one of these antennas and what band
beside 2m 's it was designed to cover and if there was any instruction
sheet available for it. Just wondering as it is a well built antenna and
might keep it in my Mobility Kit. All inputs appreciate, Mac
