[Antennas] LMR 400

I think that feedline is related to my antenna so I will ask the
group.

I really like LMR 400 for many reasons low weight, low loss, ( I am
active on 440mhz) and it costs way less than hardline, ect.

Well my question is this, I have seen and been told that the cable
requires a "special connector"  I have always used a standard pl259.
what gives? And what is this special connector.

I will admit it is tough to screw the last bit on to the jacket but I
have a trick that works well for me ;-)
