I would contemplate the Minooka or Battle Creek  arrangement or go to a 
remote tuned Inverted-L 50x50 (66x66 if  possible).

The Inverted-L will give you high and low angle lobe aspects.  Also what I 
have found is that by keeping the vertical and horizontal legs  equal, it 
results in a more manageable  impedance.
