[Antennas] Antenna help needed, please

This thread, like so many before it here and in the rec.antennas group,
reminds me of the analogy:

If you like boating, you need to live near water,
and if you like big boats,
you need to live near big water.

We're trying to convince folks there is a way to enjoy a 55' flybridge on a
dead-end canal with low bridges. An exercise in futility.
