[Antennas] how I made the DIS 7-1 work on 30

To make the HyGain 40 meter dipole work on 30 meters, the instructions say to short all
the sets of linear loading wires X from the 40 meter insulator.

so to make this easy for myself, I took some Al bar stock, cut to bit longer than the
linear loading wire gap and sawed a small kerf.
sandwiched two together with a bolt and thumbscrew in the center.
Little Aluminox to make solid connection.

Well the manuals chart was dead on, I didn't have to adjust at all.
Set these shorting bars at 23" from black insulator and it was perfect.

Could have done it with Al clothes wire and cable clamps, but this made for easy one hand
adjustment.

So now...anybody half a schematic for a switching system so I can jump between 40 and
30????

Please and thank you.
