Hi George,
I use the RadioWorks Carolina Windom 80. I've had it
up for over 2 years and have it mounted as an inverted
V at 50 feet with about 160 degrees between the legs.
I am also an avid DX'er and have worked close to 200
countries with this antenna and 100 watts from an Icom
746Pro. I love the antenna and have found it to be a
great performer. I like it so much that I am going to
out up a windom 160 for DX'ing on 160. The 80 tunes
very well and, with the internal Icom tuner, I can get
close to a 1:1 on all bands except the low end of 10
meters, where the SWR is about 2.5:1.
Hope this helps. If you want to get on the air with
me and hear what it does, let me know and we'll set up
a sked. I am usually on the 3902 century club net in
the evenings between 10:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. EST.
