[Antennas] what kind of LED should I get

I'd like to put two (or more if needed) LEDs into the TailTwister Control Box to 
illuminate the meter.
Basically replacing the bulbs with a longer lived, cooler version.

Can anyone suggest a LED type, color, part number that I could just solder in?
