[Antennas] Hustler Antenna

Popular Electronics had such a unit DECADES ago....you could run 5
coils....or 4 if you used a lock nut in the center...Just make a + pattern
with holes big enough to hold the bolts and space the coils 3-4 inches away
from the center one...(depending on whether you want to use the 80mtr std or
heavy duty model)...make the plate where the four "leaves" angle down at a
slight angle so they don't get in each others way...

BTW Hustler does sell a 3 way adaptor...they say NOT to use a 4th one in the
center position....but I know some folks who have without any problems....it
depends on what bands you use and where you want them to resonante...(and
the stingers may end up extremely different...) I used one on a Valor 4 band
antenna that brings 20,15 and 10 out horiz as helical wound stingers....and
then used the 80, 40 and added a Hustler 17 and 12 mtr coils on the
top...all worked ok except the 17 mtr coil which went REAL low in freq...and
I had to trim the stinger on it quite a bit....(probably interaction with
the 15 mtr element)...all elements met factory SWR B/W specs!
