Hi, guys.
I am sure there are more than a few ways of putting a hole into a pane
of glass.
However, glass is fairly fragile. True, it is a good insulator but
there is always a risk of breakage especially when it has been stressed
with the addition of holes.
I have an entirely different approach to this problem. The problem of
bringing feedlines in through a window pane. I replace the pane with a
sheet of lexan cut to fit. Lexan is tough, can be drilled to your
hearts content, and is still clear like glass. Lexan is also a good
insulator.
