Larry:
I drilled out a 2 inch hole in the brick wall and sheetrock of my
house. Then, attached an lb elbow (this is an elbow covered in a
weatherproof plastic box) on the outside and calked around it.
Next I bought a Hoffman electrical box, cut a similar hole in the back, and
ran a piece of 2 inch pvc conduit from the elbow to this box.
Finally, drilled holes in the door of the box for so239 feedthrough connectors.
The elbow has a weather seal around the front cover, and the hoffman box
has a rubber gasket around the door, which is held closed with two phillips
screw clamps.
As an added precaution, I ran a piece of 1/2 inch welding cable from a
brass bolt through the bottom of the box directly to an 8 foot ground rod
driven directly below the elbow.
Seems to work well, be weather tight, and looks pretty good as well.
Hope this helps.
