[Antennas] inverted L

Funny thing about antennas, if I string a wire from my
chimney to a tree out about 150 feet or so, then hang
a wire down at my end to feed it with, it's just a "long
wire", or something that gets no respect.  But if I call
it an "Inverted L" it suddenly gets status.  I really
think my "Big Long Wire" performs about the same as
my "Inverted L" since they're both the same wire.  Like
those people who could talk with animals, and whisper to
horses, there are a few old geezers who can look out and
see a radiation pattern.
