[Antennas] 2 meter RocketQuad by Hy-Lite Antennae, inc

Looking at a December, 1953 QST, p100, I see an ad for the above antenna.
It is described as an omni directional "stacked quadrapole", with 6 to 8db
of gain.   It doesn't look to hard to duplicate in a home shop.

Anyone on this list been around long enough to remember it?  Any performance
experience with it?
