[Antennas] Acid + copper

Fact - concentrated nitric acid under normal ambient temperature and
pressure will take a lot longer than a few seconds to completely
dissolve 12 gauge wire.
I use concentrated nitric acid to remove the tarnish from the copper
wire and I leave the wire in the acid until the surface tarnish has
been dissolved.  This takes many seconds to just remove the tarnish
and I still have lots and lots of copper left.
