[Antennas] Wire dipole above yagi? Interaction?

I'm reading a July 76 Ham Radio article about mounting a wire dipole
on the top of a mast (on a rotating sleeve) above a tower mounting
yagi. To clarify, the center of the dipole is mounted to a rotating sleeve
such that when the yagi turns, the dipole feedpoint is stationary.

My question is how much interaction should be expected
if the dipole/vee is mounted 10-12 feet above the yagi?

I'd like to consider a 80-40-30 dipole mounted above a triband yagi
with 40m add on (Cushcraft A4). Will I hose the performance
of the yagi in doing so? Yagi height is only 45 feet.

Thanks for your insight
