[Antennas] Comet GP-9 Coax Loop

Hello All,

   I will be replacing my old 2M Copper J-Pole with
a Comet GP-9.  From reading the instructions they
show, but do not describe, looping the coax near
the feedpoint.  Are they showing a RF decoupling
choke, or just a simple once around loop for stress
relief on the connector?  Does the coax need a RF
choke on this antenna?

  If anyone has a GP-9 or a similar antenna, I'd
really
appreciate any information.  Thank you.
