[Antennas] 4 square

Have you guys ever tried a 5 square? It has a driven vertical in the center
of 4 verticals arranged in a square around the center antenna and each of
the 4 has a relay which switches the antennas to either a reflector or
director usually by shorting out a few turns in a coil. The antenna switches
in 90 degree increments but works very well. Since you don't switch the
driven element, there are few problems with the connections. there is a
similar antenna and switch in the old handbook or antenna book using a
sloper. Of course if you want you can have more than 4 outside antennas and
switch in smaller increments, but 4 work well.
