Paul, I've used a number of loops for 80 meter dxing, and while some
worked better than others, I've been happy with all of them. I think
your system will be awesome and the thing I like most about the
situation you describe is your flexibility. I won't presume to make
recommendations but it seems you could do the following:

1. Put up a two element unidirectional parasitic array.
2. Put up a two element phased array (you could easily accomplish the
phasing with a quarter-wave lag line) and the array would be
unidirectional, but switchable.
3. With 102 feet you have room for 3 loops, the one in the middle being
a reflector and the two on either side being driven, therefore again
switchable.

Finally consider where you are going to feed the loops. Conventional
wisdom is that you feed down a quarter wave from the apex to get
vertical polarization and the lowest take off angle. Probably true, but
mechanically it's a pain and in reality I don't think it buys you that
much. I think you will have an easier time just feeding in the middle
of the bottom section. In my opinion the optimum take off angle on 80
meters is often pretty high anyway.

One more thing, given you catenary arrangement, can you make it easy to
alter the spacing after you get them up. Would be fun to play.

You have enough possibilities to keep you busy for the next year.
Enjoy!
