Paul,
If you can put up a 45 foot high "vertical" and you can put in the 4 guy
anchor points 25 ft away. from base mount then the GAP Voyager is hard
to beat on top band and 80,
Had one mounted at my QTH for about 3 years when I was l very active on
low bands.
The need for only 3 Counterpoise at 57 ft. in length made it very
flexible. in comparison to my previous vertical which was a butternut
which required a "ton" of radials about which the wife constantly harped
about.

Performance on 160 and 80/75 DX was outstanding, 40 performance was
much better in comparison to the butternut 20 was about equal.
With the tilting ground mount erection was a easy task, I actually took
her down easily one time by my self when we had a "nasty" hurricane
heading our way this after making a"Y" cradle to keep the "Top Hat" off
the ground
Had to take her down last year when I started to travel for the job again
one of the concessions to the xyl, sold her to my friend in the next
town over and the only thing that he had to get was a new ground mount as
my was in a chunk of cement the Voyager is till active.
