No, I haven't built one or used one, but antenna principles are all the same (this antenna does not invent a new concept) the tuning effect of the section of twin lead is not a function of the line impedance but of the line length. Therefor it makes no difference whether it is 300-ohm or 450-ohm as I doubt that the propagation factor is that much different between those two. Harvey W4TG
