I did a Google search for < AH-4 + mobile >  and got several hits including 
this one at 
http://www.usfamily.net/web/k9eq/ah4/mobile_operation.htm.  Take note of 
the mention of the brackets not being grounded.  Make sure you have a good 
ground.

I'd think you're not the first one to try it, so you should find some 
information.  Good luck.
