  I forget the exact model, but Larsen. Not Signal. I had a Comet with a Larsen base,
but I cracked the coax on the magnetic base, and someone local had a new-in-the-box
Larsen dual-band on a mag base. I think they list for $60 total (base and coil/whip).

  We use Signal at work and I think they're junk. But I don't know if Signal makes
a dual-band. I just know it's a cheap clone of a proven winner, IMHO. :-)
