[Antennas] 80 and 40 meter antennas

  I have had suprisingly good luck with a quarter wave sloper. I'm using the
Alpha-Delta DX-A which gives me 160 too (in a short space) but if you are
only interested in 80 or just want to see if it will play, string one from
as high as possible on your taller support and bring the far end down to
just high enough to not be in the way. Feed it with coax at the top and
ground the shield up there too. Try to orient in your favored direction
although there is not much pattern to it.
