[Antennas] 40m Antenna Ideas

Guess Ill throw in my 2 cents as well....at current QTH have a Hygain High Tower vertical, 53' tall...and a 40 meter Bi-Square thats 40' at the feedpoint and slopes South to the back yard to 10' off the ground, fed with 450 ohm ladder line to tuner...the Bi-Square always beats the vertical in the US ---  this past weekend, running the DX contest, it also routinely beat the vertical on 40,20 and 10 meters....pretty much all areas of the world, New Zealand, South America, Europe and Africa..so...save your money and build a bi-square...best antenna Ive ever used.  73  Tim  K8WBL
