[Antennas] Question

I have two dipoles (135 ft and 255 ft) fed with "450 Ohm" twin lead. Both 
work pretty well. (The long one even loads well on 6M)   I have used 
various MFJ tuners . Why are you leery of ladder line? Is there something I 
am missing?
