Dear Hue,

Then you have even less reason to be concerned about the characteristic
impedance of the coax section.

Use the pair of coax cables, taped together as your balanced line, at the
point where it enters the house. Tie their shields together on the outside
of the house and bond them to a good ground frame.

Use balun to convert to unbalanced for the receiver.

The receiver will be quite happy with whatever impedance you have at that
point.

If you want to simplify it even further, just put the balun just outside the
house, earth the coax shield at that point, and bring just the one coax in
through the wall.
