[Antennas] ladder line questions

Would Any of you know what consequences it would have to build the ladder
line out of insulated wire ?

An open wire feeder runs the risk of getting into touch with something on
its way, and may even short cirquit if it gets twisted.

This could be avoided if the ladder line was made of insulated wire, but
which other consequences might it have ?

I would use standard insulated single or multithreaded wire with spacers,
Would that be a good or a bad idea ?
