[Antennas] HF passive preselector?

For more than 20 years, I am serching for a schematic
  of an HF passive preselector which has been incorporated
  in the vintage receivers around 1950 ...=20

  I just remember:

  - NO switching has been used
    for bands from 3.5 to 30 MHz.

  - 1 double variable capacitor
  - 1 inductance with a tap
  - 2 or 3? fixed capacitors

  I would like to use it as receiving tuner
  for my cca 80 meters long wire antenna.

  Maybe you can suggest me
  another type of passive
  non-switcing preselector?
