Bob,
I would think that it wasn't that because all of mine have come with them 
(warning labels that is.)  I can't believe that they only recalled 100 units. 
 Another fact to pass on to all is that you CANNOT BUY AN ANTTRON A 99 
anymore and haven't been able yo for 10 years or more.  SolorCon bought out 
the trademark and began producing a terribly cheap version of the A 99.  The 
Anttron folks produced an antenna called the 305 and I have one of those and 
have found it to be better then any antenna SolorCon puts out.
