Hi Kees,=0D
You can download the assembly manual from Bencher at : http://www.bench=
er
com/pdf_download.html#vert_ant scroll down to HF6V. It's in PDF format s=
o
you'll need AcroBat reader or something that will open PDF files. That
should give you all the info you need to get your's going. As for the
traped radials they have all the disadvatages of using traps in the ante=
nna
narrow bandwith and eventuall trap problems. But if that's all you can=
do
go for it. I've had good luck here in the past using ribbion cable for =
the
radials. =0D

Hope this is of help,=0D

At one of the local swapmeets I picked up a "needs work"=0D
Butternut vertical. It appears to be a HF6V. What is the =0D
length of the RG/11 matching element supposed to be and =0D
does anyone have any ideas on a set of multiband radials=0D
which would work on 80/40/30/20/15/10m. Anyone used =0D
"trap" radials ? You still get the advantage of the Butternut=0D
"trapless" vertical design and you only need 4 radials. This =0D
is for above ground mounting ...maybe 20ft off the ground. =0D
