Hello again folks,
Thanks for all the great answers on the Cubex quad survivability.
I got the model # and it turns out its a Mark 4 with the additional kit for
12 and 17 meters and includes the 5 position Ameritron switch box.
So..... I am out in the back looking at the tower and realizing that this
antenna might be tough to install.
The tower does not access for a crane, so thats out of the question. The
Mosley was only 2 dimensional but was not easy to install. I guess I am
looking for installtion techniques.
A description of the tower is Rohn 55 G to the 100' level with a 45 G
adapter section, there its 29 more feet to the top. There is about 9 feet
of tower unguyed at the top. The 90' and 120' guy points use the heavy duty
triangular guy mounts with dual cables, 30' and 60' use traditional mounts
single guy wire wrapped around the leg.
There are also 2 set of anchors 1 set for the bottom guys at 70' feet and
the other for the top 2 at about 100'
It seems that a tram might be the only way to get the 3 dimensional antenna
in place.
Looking for ideas
