[Antennas] Sloper Antenna

Dear Group,
Thinking about purchasing what is called "Half Sloper Antenna."  Also, would use this on my tower which is around 38-39 feet.  Is there a difference in performance on the distance the bottom is from the tower?  Course, I would be hooking the top of the sloper to the top of the tower.
