[Antennas] VLF Loop

I have searched high and low for plans to build a good VLF receiving =
loop.
I plan to mast mount it and have a CDE Ham-M rotator to turn it =
(overkill I
know). I figure something six foot diameter or so would work well. I =
am in
a very nasty place for radio, lots of QRM, paging, and VHF dead zone due =
to
elevation. =20

Weather is typical North Texas stuff so it can run from 0F to 100F with =
wind
gusts hitting 60 mph year round. Not a lot of ice but once in a while =
some
really nasty storms. On the plus side the ground is great for RF =
grounds,
something hard to do in the West Texas caliche found about six inches =
down
back home.

Anyone using something they really like? I can build or roll my own and
have looked at copper pipe, hula-hoops, and wire filled PVC. There =
isn't
much going on locally with this so no elmers available.

Thanks and 73 de Richard, W5SRB
