Find a small machine screw (bolt) that will fit the tapped holes,
using the bolt, find a tap of that size, borrow one from a chum if
possible. If you must, find a tool supplier (wholesale kind) and
purchase a "bottom tap" of that size. And "chase the threads".
(re-thread the hole)
(Taps are made in three kinds in every size: top, middle and bottom.)
(A few auto parts stores will loan tools to install parts bought there,
if they do have taps (I doubt it) a friendly counter man (or woman) may
allow you to chase it there, if you find the store empty of customers.
