Hi Isaac,

The Hamstick will radiate less than 5% of the RF power fed to it. The rest
will be dissipated as heat in the winding.

You will be better off with a multi-band half-wave vertical such as the
Cushcraft R8, Hy-Gain AV-640 etc.

Can anyone comment on the usage of 40m Hamstick as a permanent base-station
antenna from a rooftop installation?
Will two of these configured as a dipole do a decent job?
