Gen is correct about the performance of the aG5RV.  It
really does have some great properties about it.  I
intend to put up 2 of them perpendicular to each other
at this next field day.

 I only criticise the attempt by many to think that it
is an all band antenna.  
 Analysis shows that the longer the coax, the larger
the loss. And the loss is really extreme when not on
one of the resonant frequencies.
 Using the G5RV with ONLY resonant ladder line feed is
a very impressive antenna.
